Tim Huckaby works in FMI’s Investment Banking practice. He specializes in M&A advisory services, divestitures, capital placements, and financial restructurings for companies in the engineering and construction industry. Tim has extensive experience as a sell-side dealmaker working with engineering and performance contracting firms as well as unregulated subsidiaries of utilities. He has also represented several private equity firms and large strategic buyers in acquisitions of companies in his areas of focus.

Tim has been involved in the transaction business for 15 years. He began his career as a CPA and auditor at Price Waterhouse where he worked in due diligence and transaction support for several large deals in the entertainment sector. Prior to joining FMI, Tim was a partner at EnCapital, a Boston-based boutique investment bank serving the energy, engineering, and environmental industries. During his seven years at EnCapital, he was involved in the majority of the larger energy services (ESCO) transactions that occurred in North America.

Tim received his bachelor of science in accounting with high honors from the University of Tennessee and a masters of business administration from Harvard Business School.
